Yep, we’ve still got one massive sale to come!
The Xbox Black Friday Sale might be almost over for another year, but we’ve still got one massive sale to come before the month is finished – the Xbox Countdown Sale 2025! This is typically one of the biggest sales of the year for Xbox, with potentially over 1000 games set to be discounted during late December and a bit of early January.
The official date of the sale hasn’t been announced at the time of writing, but it should be just a few days or weeks away at this point, so down below we’ve provided some educated guesses as to when we think it might be available.
When Is The Xbox Countdown Sale 2025?
It looks like the Xbox Countdown Sale will begin around December 12th or December 19th. The more likely date seems to be the 19th as things stand, but there’s a chance they’ll jump the gun and start the sale as soon as next week!
Here’s a list of sale dates from recent years:
- Xbox Countdown Sale 2024: December 13 – January 2
- Xbox Countdown Sale 2023: December 15 – January 2
- Xbox Countdown Sale 2022: December 16 – January 3
Based on those years, we should be looking at plenty of great discounts during the Xbox Countdown Sale 2025, including many AAA releases. Last year’s version featured just over 1000 reductions in all.
In the meantime, you’ve still got a few hours to grab the Xbox BF deals if you’re reading this on Wednesday the 3rd, otherwise there are plenty more deals on the Xbox Store to grab in the lead up to the Countdown Sale later this month.
