SPRING IS HERE and the weather is showing for it (the high is 72 degrees here in New York City the day of writing this). That said, I’m already planning my weekends at the beach. I’m also thinking about who I know that has a pool in their apartment complex. All of this has me realizing that I’m due for a new pair of swim trunks. One of the first places I’m looking is Lululemon. The brand, primarily known for its modern athleisure, has some pretty attractive swimwear that any guy can look good in.

If you’re looking for something to wear casually on your next trip that involves some body of water, look no further. You might also be wanting to something to wear around the house or to run errands in, since Lululemon provides that kind of versatility. If so, then you need to check out my favorite Lululemon pairs of swim shorts below.

Lululemon’s swim trunks are built with the same performance mindset as its training gear. That goes for the 5-inch linerless Swim Shorts, which have a comfortable fit, dries down in minutes, and feel light as a feather. When I’m in the water, there’s no clinging or ballooning, so I can move through the waves with no problem. Then there’s styles like the Textured Swim Shorts, designed to pull double duty. It has a tailored silhouette and minimal branding that make it easy to wear from the beach to a bar without looking out of place. Add in thoughtful details like secure zip pockets, breathable liners (or options that are linerless like the aforementioned), and chafe-resistant construction, and you’ve got a pair of trunks that feel as good during a swim as they do for a casual lunch or resort dinner.

All this to say, Lululemon has some pretty neat options on the design-front, with pairs either displaying attractive monochrome colors, or patterns that can still match most fits. There’s also two seam options for most pairs, coming at either 5” or 7”.

Pairs average at about $78, with others reaching as high as $88 and some as low as $69. Go ahead and stock up as we head into what I hope is one of the best springs and summers we’ve had in a while.
