Our first 2027 games announced!

This week’s Xbox Partner Preview wasn’t exactly light on Game Pass reveals; we got 14 new announcements as part of the March showcase. While most of these titles are set to drop this year, the event did give us our first glimpse at what to expect from Xbox Game Pass in 2027, with three games now scheduled for the service next year.

Just one of these three titles has a release window of some sort — with The Expanse: Osiris Reborn set for Spring 2027 — but still, it’s nice to get an early look at how XGP is lining up. Of course, Microsoft will be bringing plenty of its own first-party games to the service next year too, and we wouldn’t be surprised to see some of 2026’s ‘TBD’ games get bumped to 2027 as well.

For now though, we just want to highlight these three games in their own right, which are now our first confirmed Xbox Game Pass titles for the year 2027! They’re all looking rather tasty we must admit; even the two lesser-known quantities look like they’ll be valuable additions to the service when they arrive at some point next year.

Without further ado:

The Expanse: Osiris Reborn (Spring 2027)

“The Expanse: Osiris Reborn is a third-person Action RPG set in The Expanse universe. You’re no hero — just a merc caught in the wrong place at the wrong time, trying to hold your crew together and keep the ship up and running. Your choices will shape your story.”

Alien Deathstorm (TBD 2027)

“Explore a devastated off-world colony which has been ravaged by a cataclysmic mega-storm and overrun by bloodthirsty aliens. Using a combination of cunning and firepower you must defeat the countless lurking horrors in a desperate fight for survival.”

Moosa: Dirty Fate (TBD 2027)

“A fierce action game set in 17th-century Korea during an age of famine and chaos. Fight as a fallen warrior using sword and bow to battle demons, corrupt factions, and colossal creatures from Korean folklore.”

What do you reckon to these first few 2027 XGP titles, then? Talk to us about ’em down below!
