  • LEGO just opened preorders on nine FIFA World Cup-themed sets.
  • Lionel Messi and Ronaldo are heavily featured, with Kylian Mbappé and Vini Jr. also making mini-figure cameos.
  • The sets range from $25-$200 and ship out on May 1st.

WE’RE OFFICIALLY INWorld Cup mode, where no collaboration is too bold. A few of our editors are unabashed Lego collectors (and by a few, I mean most definitely me), and we couldn’t help but marvel at the brick maker’s latest and most timely drop, this time in the form of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The soccer superstars are featured in Lego’s “Legend Edition” theme, and they’re now up for preorder on Amazon and Lego’s site. There are a few grail pieces for soccer fans that are soon to be available, and we’d suggest jumping on them fast. Preorders will ship out May 1, giving you ample time to build your favorite player before the FIFA World Cup kicks off on June 11.

The two Legends sets are the highlights of the collection—at least, as far as we’re concerned. The Messi set is 958 pieces and stands over a foot tall, making it a great display piece. Our favorite component, though, is the interactive versatility. You can build the set with two different poses: The first depicts the footballer’s iconic celebration, and the second shows Messi in action, dribbling the ball down the field.

The Ronaldo set follows the same basic set of guidelines. It’s a little lighter in pieces (854 in total) and stands over 10 inches tall. You can choose to build him in two different styles as well, with the first being in his classic “Siuuu” victory pose. The second depicts Ronaldo performing his iconic bicycle kick—a must-have for Ronaldo stans. Each set retails for $80.

The Big Kahuna of the collection, however, comes courtesy of the Messi Celebration Set. This is the priciest of the bunch, listed for $200 at launch. This bad boy features 1,427 pieces in total and stands over 15 inches high. This is a hanging set, so it’s a little different from the first two full-body displays, but it makes for a great piece of LEGO decor. If you’re running out of room to display your sets like some of us here (again, me), this is a solid space-saving option.

More good news: These are just the tip of the iceberg. While the three Messi and Ronaldo sets are certainly the highlights of LEGO’s May drop, they also released six more budget-friendly sets, all $30 and under. For those looking for minifigures of Ronaldo, Messi, Kylian Mbappé, and Vini Jr, you’ve come to the right place. The four footballers get mini makeovers in the new “Soccer Highlights” collection. The brand also dropped exclusive 2026 U.S. Soccer National Team Jersey and FIFA World Cup 2026 Official Emblem sets, but those are only available on LEGO’s site.

Take a look at the rest of the sets below. While we don’t highlight a ton of LEGO drops here on Men’s Health, we felt like these were just too good to pass up. We’ll certainly be opening up our wallets for this one.
