These latest devices focus on stronger performance, AI-driven features, longer battery life and improved durability, reflecting how everyday tech is steadily advancing.
Here’s a look at some of the recent announcements in the space.Vivo T5 Pro 5G
Vivo has launched the Vivo T5 Pro 5G in India, featuring a massive 9,020mAh battery, while still maintaining a slim design. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor and sports an AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It also comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance. The smartphone is currently available via Vivo’s official website and Flipkart.
Dell 15
Dell has introduced the Dell 15 laptop, equipped with Intel Core Ultra 2 series H processors based on the Arrow Lake architecture. It includes Intel Arc graphics and a dedicated NPU for handling AI-related tasks on the device. The laptop features a 15-inch full FHD display and includes a Copilot key for AI assistance. Designed for everyday productivity, it also offers features like ExpressCharge and AI-based performance optimisation. It comes at a starting price of ₹69,699. The laptop is offered in Carbon Black and Platinum Silver finishes, with a durable polycarbonate chassis.
Motorola Edge 70 Pro
Motorola has launched the Edge 70 Pro in the Indian market. The latest addition complements the previously introduced Edge 70 and Edge 70 Fusion. The smartphone features a 6.8-inch 1.5K quad-curved AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support and peak brightness of 5,200 nits. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and includes stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. The device also offers IP68 and IP69 ratings along with military-grade durability certification.
Poco C81 and Poco C81x
Poco has also expanded its lineup with the launch of the Poco C81 and Poco C81x in India. Available via Flipkart, both models are part of the brand’s C-series. The C81 variant comes with a 6,300mAh battery, while the C81x features a 5,200mAh battery. Both devices support 15W wired charging and 7.5W reverse charging, along with 4G connectivity. The company claims the C81 can deliver over 23 hours of video playback, while the C81x offers more than 15 hours of streaming.
Vivo Y600 Pro
Vivo is also preparing to launch the Vivo Y600 Pro on April 27. The upcoming device is expected to prioritise battery performance, using second-generation semi-solid battery technology that can function efficiently even in temperatures up to 60°C. It will also feature chip-level AI optimisation for better power management and is designed to retain battery health for up to six years. The smartphone is expected to support 90W fast charging, allowing a full charge in under 80 minutes.
