The wait is finally over; American pop icon Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce have officially exchanged vows on July 3. The couple had a lavish, star-studded wedding at New York’s famous Madison Square Garden arena, planned by Mark Seed.

After nearly two years of making their first public appearance together, the couple had earlier broken the news of their engagement to the world back in August 2025 and since then fans have been eagerly waiting for the big day.

Here’s everything we know so far about the ‘America’s Royal Wedding’:

The famous stadium turns into wedding venue

Last week, the New York Times reported that permits had been requested for a large-scale event at Madison Square Garden in early July, which allowed for road closures in the surrounding Manhattan area from July 2 to 4.

Ahead of the wedding, paparazzi photos and videos captured delivery of boxes labeled ‘Garden Party,’ and workers rolling out and then removing carpet on the entrance steps. White tents were also erected outside the venue for arrivals. Some videos also showed Swift’s car pulling up at the venue on the day of rehearsal dinner, which was held on July 2.

Meticulously planned running order

As per multiple reports, the couple held a rehearsal dinner for about 100 people at the Infosys Theater within the arena on Thursday, July 2. Lena Dunham, Selena Gomez, and Jack Antonoff were photographed by paparazzi as they headed to MSG for the event that evening.

According to Page Six report, sources close to the couple revealed the weekend’s full running order. As per the report, following the rehearsal dinner, doors for guests opened on Friday at 3:30 pm, with a cocktail hour beginning at 4 pm on the 6th-floor concourse. The nuptials then started at 5:30 pm on the MSG arena floor, with the reception following at 6:30 pm. The end time was set for 2:00 am.

The couple choose custom Dior by Jonathan Anderson

According to a press release from the ‘Daylight’ singer’s representatives, the couple chose custom Dior Haute Couture designed by Jonathan Anderson, marking the designer’s first ever wedding couture dress for a world-famous celebrity. The release also added that Swift opted for custom Christian Louboutin shoes and wore Cartier jewellery for her special day.

The couple forgo traditional wedding ceremony

As per the official statement, Swift’s brother, Austin, served as her ‘man of honour,’ while Kelce’s brother, Jason, was his best man, and Adam Sandler was the officiant.

Among the guests, Jack Antonoff, his sister Rachel, and Antoni Porowski, Suki Waterhouse, Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Lena Dunham, the Haim sisters, Abigail Anderson Berard, Ed Sheeran, Zoe Kravitz, Dakota Johnson, Julianne Moore, Ethan Hawke, Hugh Grant, Jason Sudeikis, Charlie Day, Benson Boone, Mariska Hargitay, Nikki Glaser, Jimmy Fallon, Ellie Goulding, Kyle and Kristin Juszczyk, and Karlie Kloss among others were invited to the wedding.

After the couple said “I do,” LED screens outside of Madison Square Garden reportedly lit up with the words “JUST&T MARRIED,” while the top of the Empire State Building turned into Swift’s “something blue.”
