Is everyone else done with dressing for summer? Keeping hold of your aesthetic with temperatures soar is hard. It feels about time to bring layers and texture back. Selena Gomez seems to agree, having returned from a long vacation in Italy and swapped into a decidedly more fall-ready look.
No more LWDs, it’s all about strong and structured leather. Gomez was photographed heading out for dinner to San Vicente Bungalows in Los Angeles on Tuesday evening, where she wore a collarless, close-fitting black leather jacket and matching pencil skirt. She styled the Matrix-esque look with a coordinating clutch bag, black pumps, gold hoop earrings, and rose-tinted oval tortoiseshell sunglasses. (One of her Rare Beauty blush products was also clasped in one hand.)
The Only Murders in the Building actor enjoyed an extended vacation to Italy with her husband, music producer Benny Blanco, where she also celebrated her birthday. Across time spent in Florence, Bologna, Rome, and the foothills of Tuscany, Gomez’s La Dolce Vita wardrobe included breezy linen and silk sets from Free People and Bode, ruffly gowns via Nana Jacqueline and De La Valli, plenty of bikinis care of Hunza J and Monday Swimwear, and crochet bandanas.

The couple also made an appearance at Venice Film Festival, where they showed early inklings of being ready for cozy season. Gomez and Blanco opted for coordinated earthy hues for their outing: Gomez donned a brown turtleneck top with a suede Edwina skirt, paired with slouchy, square-toed boots that gave off big autumnal energy.
Selena Gomez might have a covetable summer style, but honestly, her fall fashion is even better. The woman knows how to layer, and has a collection of leather jackets, camel coats, and stompy boots like nobody else.
