Bankman-Fried is serving a 25-year prison sentence for fraud-related convictions tied to the collapse of FTX. However, President Donald Trump previously said in January that he would not pardon him, a position the White House reiterated on Monday. While Trump has granted clemency to some crypto industry figures, Bankman-Fried’s request currently appears unlikely to succeed.
