July 2 (UPI) — CBS has announced that Michael Weatherly will return to play Tony DiNozzo in a season-long arc of NCIS in 2026-27.
The current cast also includes Sean Murray, Wilmer Valderrama, Brian Dietzen, Diona Reasonover, Katrina Law and Gary Cole.
Weatherly played DiNozzo on NCIS for 13 seasons, starring in more than 300 episodes, from 2003 to 2016, and returning as a guest star in 2024.
He also played the character in the one-season Paramount+ spin-off, NCIS: Tony & Ziva.
