Even hot girls need a break to heal. After one month on Broadway, Megan thee Stallion is stepping down early from her role as Harold Zidler in Moulin Rouge! The Musical. “Unfortunately, my last performance on Moulin Rouge! The Musical will be May 1. It’s been such an honor to be part of Moulin Rouge and I’ve met so many amazing people in this theater!” she wrote in a statement on April 27. “Y’all work so hard and I have so much respect for the dedication, the stamina, the work ethic, the time and the effort y’all put into the work! Every single person at the Moulin Rouge has inspired me to go harder as an entertainer.” She ended her run about two weeks early; she was scheduled to perform until May 17. A replacement will be announced soon. Megan concluded, “I’m so grateful for the cast and crew that made this experience so meaningful. Y’all are really some of the kindest human beings I’ve ever met! To all the Hotties that showed up or planned to attend, thank you for supporting me during this incredible journey!”
Last night, Megan gave an emotional performance, crying through the cheers of support, as she had announced on Saturday that she had broken up with Klay Thompson after she found out he was allegedly cheating. “Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house … got ‘cold feet’ Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season now you don’t know if you can be ‘monogamous’???? bitch I need a REAL break after this one .. bye yall,” she wrote on Instagram on April 27. Fingers crossed this break can be a relaxing one for Megan, her fans have the rest handled.
