An unnamed man was dragged away from the JetBlue terminal at Boston Logan International Airport after he stripped naked in front of passengers awaiting to board their flight.
In a now-viral video, first shared on TikTok, travelers were in line to board when the man began taking off his clothes piece by piece.
According to Aviation A2Z, he stood “unclothed with his arms stretched wide,” and reportedly “muttered incoherently before officers intervened.” The video evidence shows him on the floor in bright red boxer-briefs. He raised his feet and later wound up on his hands and knees with his butt in the air.
It was then that he pulled down his drawls and mooned the crowd of onlookers. He muttered something to himself when he took the remainder of his clothing and stood “proudly” as guests witnessed in horror. Local authorities did arrive and forced him to put his underwear back on before detaining him.
Public indecency in Massachusetts can be punished with a fine, jail time, or both. In the case of this ordeal, it’s unclear what his fate will be.
Those who’ve viewed the video have mixed reactions. One user commented, “It’s giving I’m homeless and need someplace to stay. I’ll take jail for $200 Alex.”
Another replied, “Sorry NOT sorry… but I’m glad this happened on the ground and not at 30K in the air!!!” Someone else offered a more empathetic approach: “He’s mentally disturbed. I hope he gets the medical help that he needs.” It hasn’t been confirmed if he was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
