What is India Mobile Congress 2026?

The India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2026 is being held for its 10th edition from October 7-10 at Yashobhoomi Convention Centre in New Delhi.

The event is placing DeepTech and frontier innovation at the centre of its startup agenda, according to IMC.

A key focus of the 2026 edition will be helping emerging companies move from prototypes towards commercial scale, investment and market access through its flagship ASPIRE platform.

Over 500 startups and MSMEs expected

India Mobile Congress is being organised jointly by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI).

According to IMC, the event is expected to bring together more than 500 startups and MSMEs, along with over 300 venture capital firms, angel networks, incubators and corporate innovation entities.

The event’s focus on startups and frontier technologies comes as India’s technology ecosystem continues to place greater emphasis on moving emerging technologies from development and experimentation towards commercial applications.

For Delhi commuters, however, the immediate impact of the four-day event will be traffic management measures around Yashobhoomi, particularly on October 8 when temporary restrictions on heavy and commercial vehicles are scheduled.
