Hilton has announced a strategic agreement with Regenta Hotels Private Limited, owned by Royal Orchid Hotels Limited, to sign and open 125 Hampton by Hilton hotels in India, primarily across western and southern regions, with openings targeted by 2035.
Hilton has signed a strategic agreement with Regenta Hotels Private Limited, a subsidiary of Royal Orchid Hotels Limited, to develop and open 125 Hampton by Hilton hotels in India by 2035. The franchised hotels will be located primarily in western and southern regions, including Goa, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.
This partnership is Hilton’s third such strategic agreement in India and aims to address a supply gap in emerging Indian cities and commercial hubs. The new Hampton by Hilton hotels will join more than 3,100 Hampton by Hilton properties operating globally.
The properties will be developed in regions that account for a significant share of India’s GDP and are key business and leisure travel corridors. Infrastructure improvements and increasing domestic travel are driving demand for branded accommodations beyond India’s largest metropolitan centers.
Hampton by Hilton is Hilton’s largest brand by number of hotels and operates in 46 countries. Following consumer research in India, the new hotels will feature design, service, and amenities tailored to local preferences while maintaining global brand standards.
Hampton by Hilton hotels participate in Hilton Honors, Hilton’s guest loyalty program. Members who book directly through preferred Hilton channels receive benefits such as flexible points and money payment options, exclusive member discounts, complimentary standard Wi-Fi, digital check-in, room selection, and Digital Key access via the Hilton Honors mobile app.
