“She asks for privacy at this time in protection of her young daughters,” the rep added.

The exes share two daughters together — Ryan Ava Erhard, 10, and Lulu Gray, 7.

They’ve been engaged since April 2014, when Rosenberg, an entrepreneur, popped the question on April Fools Day.

Back in May 2021, Duff told Page Six that her eldest child Ryan asked when her parents would get married.

“We feel married in a lot of ways. I mean, we couldn’t be more married if we tried,” she told us with a laugh. “We’ve got two kids and couldn’t be more married if we tried, but I think both of us envisioned doing it in Texas, and so now that we’re here, the conversations are happening a little more often than they were before.”

Duff, 41, and Rosenberg had originally postponed their wedding when they found out that she was pregnant with Ryan. But the “Napoleon Dynamite” star told us at the time that her wedding day was now going to be different after welcoming two kids.

“I just probably won’t be in, like, a big wedding dress like I thought I would be,” she said. “I think, like, we’re older, first of all, too, you know, both of our kids would be there. I think it’s been reimagined a little bit, which is exciting.”

The split comes after Haylie’s younger sister, Hilary Duff, gave rare insight into their alleged feud with her song, “We Don’t Talk,” in January.

“We come from the same home, the same blood,” Hilary sings, later sharing a wish to “get back to how we were as kids.”

She proposed, “Let’s have it out / I’ll hear you out, you’ll hear me out on the couch. … Let’s break it down / So sick of being so sad about / How we don’t talk and you won’t talk about it.”

Hilary, who admitted to hating the rift, sang that she isn’t “sure what happened” to cause an estrangement.

“Not even sure what it was about,” she belted out. “If I did something different / Would you feel something different? / Would you at least let me hear you out?”

In February, Hilary, 38, compared her “lonely” estrangement from Haylie to her 2015 divorce from Mike Comrie.

“I made a choice to put that song on my record. That’s definitely the most lonely part of my life, and I struggled with, ‘Am I going to share this?’” she told Rolling Stone of “We Don’t Talk.”

“People have known my life since I was a child,” she continued. “And so they know all the characters in it and they know what I’m talking about. For me, it was important to be open about that theme. It genuinely came from the heart.”
