CHARLOTTE, North Carolina—Extended Stay America announced the conclusion of its annual owners conference, held in Dallas, Texas, where the company brought together its franchise owners under the theme “Aligned and Activated.” Since introducing its franchise program in 2018, Extended Stay America has more than doubled its franchised hotel count.

“This conference is an important week on our calendar. It’s where we connect on what matters most to our franchise owners and leave energized about where we’re headed next,” said Greg Juceam, president and chief executive officer, Extended Stay America. “The theme, ‘Aligned and Activated,’ reflects something we believe deeply: that our growth is only as strong as the collaboration we have with our franchise community.”

Conference Agenda

This year’s agenda included:

  • A presentation from Cindy Estis Green of Kalibri Labs, breaking down the latest hospitality and extended stay performance data
  • A peer panel with fellow franchise owners sharing practical lessons and actionable strategies
  • A discussion with industry experts covering key operational topics affecting extended stay properties
  • Breakout sessions connecting owners directly with leaders in sales, marketing, franchise services and training

A highlight of the conference was the recognition of franchise hotels that stood out over the past year for how they operate their hotels, treat guests, and manage development projects.
