The European Commission is consulting on plans to introduce cereulide limits for infant formula.
Proposals cover dried infant formula, dried dietary foods for special medical purposes intended for infants under 6 months, and dried follow-on formula.
The goal is to make these foods safer for children, while ensuring fair and consistent rules for European producers, according to the EU Commission.
