Avalanche has surpassed 1.6 billion transactions, marking another milestone for the blockchain network as its ecosystem continues processing substantial on-chain activity. The achievement, reported by blockchain data provider Chainspect, comes as the AVAX price attempts to establish support near $8.00. Meanwhile, crypto analyst Crypto With Gopal has identified a falling wedge formation on the 1-hour chart. A breakout above $9.00–$9.50 could support a recovery toward $11.00.

Avalanche Network Crosses 1.6 Billion Transactions

Avalanche has reached 1.6 billion cumulative transactions, according to Chainspect. The milestone highlights the blockchain’s capacity to process substantial transaction volumes and reflects its continued presence in the competitive layer-1 ecosystem.

Chainspect shared the achievement on X, comparing the transaction count with the time required to process each transaction individually. At a rate of one transaction per second, completing 1.6 billion transactions would take more than 50 years.

The milestone provides a measurable indication of Avalanche’s network activity. However, cumulative transactions alone do not establish the number of active users or demonstrate increased demand for AVAX.

Nevertheless, the achievement adds to Avalanche’s ecosystem development story as blockchain networks compete to attract developers, applications, and users.

Network Growth Adds Context to AVAX Performance

The transaction milestone comes as investors monitor Avalanche’s network activity alongside its native token’s market performance. Consistent blockchain usage can support ecosystem development by providing infrastructure for decentralized applications and financial services.

Although network growth may lead to an increase in demand for AVAX tokens, this is not always the case. The success of the token in the market is influenced by other factors, such as market sentiments and liquidity, among others.

That is why it is important for traders to pay attention to whether the ecosystem activity of Avalanche corresponds to better market participation. The new development gives a positive backdrop for the network, but AVAX still has to get past technical resistance.

AVAX Price Setup Puts $9.50 Resistance in Focus

Crypto With Gopal has detected a falling wedge pattern on the 1-hour AVAX/USDT chart. This is forming after the cryptocurrency has been marking lower highs and lows, although the analyst thinks that the selling pressure is declining close to the $8.00 support level.

A falling wedge occurs when the the AVAX price drops between two trendlines that converge. A falling wedge may signal a potential reversal to the upside but must be confirmed with a breakout of the upper trendline.

The AVAX price should also manage to defend $8.00. Maintaining this level could help buyers recover momentum and test resistance at levels of $9.00 – $9.50.

A confirmation above $9.50 could bolster the bull setup and put $11.00 on the radar, while falling below $8.00 could undermine the corrective setup and make the token more vulnerable to bearish pressure.

Crypto With Gopal Identifies $11 as Potential Target

Crypto With Gopal predicts that there could be an imminent bullish trend reversal if the bulls manage to take the AVAX price past the resistance level of $9.00-$9.50. The predicted upside target after the breakout is $11.00.

This all hinges on whether the falling wedge results in an upwards breakout as opposed to continuing to play out its current downwards pattern. It will require buyers to have enough strength to break through resistance levels.

Meanwhile, the $8.00 support level remains a critical condition for maintaining the bullish scenario.

What Comes Next for AVAX?

However, the Avalanche network transactions worth 1.6 billion emphasize the ongoing network activity, while AVAX is approaching a key technical crossroads. The traders will observe if buyers manage to protect the $8.00 level and return to the resistance zone of $9.00-$9.50. The successful breakout will increase the chances of recovery towards $11.00.
