The week was packed with new releases, ranging from practical family cars to high-performance machines. Whether you’re looking for a smart electric SUV, a luxury sedan, or a sporty bike, there’s something new in almost every category.

Tesla and Hyundai are leading the market this week with new electric models, while BMW and Kia have updated their popular models with better tech and fresh designs. For bike lovers, TVS has added new features to the Raider, and KTM has launched an ultra-exclusive racing bike.

Here is a list of all the latest updates and releases of the week.

BMW 7 Series facelift

BMW has unveiled the facelifted 7 Series, featuring new Neue Klasse tech and revised styling. The updated series brings significant mid-cycle changes, introducing a revised exterior, a redesigned interior and upgraded technology. The luxury sedan continues to feature a diverse powertrain lineup, ranging from mild-hybrid petrol and diesel engines to plug-in hybrids like the M760e, which delivers up to 612 hp and 800 Nm, with an electric-only range of about 70–82km.

Kia Syros SUV

Kia India has officially rolled out the refreshed version of the Syros SUV, starting at ₹8.39 lakh (ex-showroom). This update is heavily influenced by buyer feedback, focusing on a broader range of trims, specifically the new HTE, HTE(O), HTK+(O), and HTX(O) variants. Kia has expanded the diesel automatic options, which are now available from the HTK+ trim onwards. On the styling front, the Syros now has a redesigned bumper with body-coloured aero inserts, glossy black skid plates, and LED fog lamps. The higher-end HTX and HTX(O) trims now stand out even more with 17-inch crystal-cut alloys paired with striking neon-coloured brake callipers.

Tesla Model Y L

Tesla is targeting the Indian market with the new Model Y L, priced at ₹61.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This variant stands out as the only model in the Indian lineup to feature a three-row, six-seat (2+2+2) configuration. The L version features a stretched 3,040 mm wheelbase and a total length of 4,976 mm. Beyond the length, the Model Y L is taller than the standard version (1,668 mm vs 1,624 mm), while maintaining the same 2,129 mm width.

Hyundai Ioniq 3

Hyundai has unveiled the Ioniq 3, a compact electric hatchback designed under their new ‘Aero Hatch’ concept. Developed for everyday European commuters, the model sits between the Hyundai Inster and the Kona Electric. The car is strictly front-wheel drive with a top speed of 170 km/h. Buyers can choose between two setups: Standard Range — A 42.2 kWh battery paired with a 108 kW motor; and Long Range — A 61 kWh battery (with a slightly lower output). The Ioniq 3 offers consistent charging performance, allowing for a 10-80% top-up in roughly 30 minutes. The Standard Range version peaks at 119 kW, while the Long Range pulls up to 110 kW.

KTM 1390 Super Duke RR Track

KTM has unveiled the 1390 Super Duke RR Track, a limited-production, track-only motorcycle, with only 100 units available worldwide. Priced at £32,999 in the UK, this model features significant weight reduction, weighing 177kg (wet, without fuel) by eliminating road equipment, making it 9kg lighter than the road-legal RR and 20kg lighter than the standard 1390 Super Duke R. Orders for this exclusive motorcycle are currently open through authorised dealers.

TVS Raider 125

TVS Motor Company has refreshed its 2026 Raider 125 lineup in India, introducing two premium variants — the SXC DD (₹96,725) and the TFT DD (₹98,550). While the base model still starts at an accessible ₹82,860, these new variants bring updated tech and fresh colour schemes to the bike’s signature sporty look. Under the hood, the mechanical setup stays consistent. The Raider 125 uses a 124.8 cc air- and oil-cooled engine, delivering 11.38 hp and 11.2 Nm paired with a five-speed gearbox. The visual update for the 2026 Raider 125 is the bold new Nitro Green paint scheme.
