Rashan Gary can get his goodbye message ready again.
The Packers are finalizing a trade that will send the defensive end to the Cowboys, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Monday.
Dallas is sending a 2027 fourth-round pick to Green Bay in exchange.
Gary will reunite with Cowboys newly-hired defensive coordinator Christian Parker, who was a defensive quality control coach with the Packers in 2019, when Gary was drafted.

Across seven years with Green Bay, Gary logged 46.5 sacks, 46 tackles for loss and seven forced fumbles. He made one Pro Bowl in 2024 when he finished with 7.5 sacks and nine tackles for loss.
He’s never reached double-digit sacks in a season, with his career-high sitting at 9.5 in 2021.
For the Cowboys, acquiring Gary fills a position of need on its defensive line.
Jadeveon Clowney, 32, led the unit with 8.5 sacks last year, though it never truly filled the void of star edge rusher Micah Parsons, who was traded to the Packers before the season.
Monday’s deal comes after Gary posted and deleted a message on Instagram on Friday saying goodbye to Green Bay — with a source later telling ESPN that he had been hacked.

There was speculation that a Gary release or trade was imminent, but no announcement was made before Monday.
Gary has two years remaining on a four-year, $96 million extension he signed in 2023.
The Packers’ decision to trade him saves them about $10 million in cap space.
