2027 Lincoln Nautilus First Look: Our Former SUV of the Year Gets a Fresh Face

Plus some more interior colors and themes.

As our 2025 SUV of the Year, the Lincoln Nautilus got a ton right, so as you might expect, the 2027 model’s refresh was applied with a light touch. The serene cabin experience remains, and now offers new colors, trims, and more to choose from.

First, updates to the front fascia see the removal of the slim central light bar and lower chrome trim. In their place are simplified and more geometric grilles. In the back, the full-length taillight is skinnier as well. Nocturnal Blue is a new color available for all trim levels, while Frosted Fig (great name) is a new color exclusive to the Black Label model. Five all-new wheel options also accompany the 2027 vehicles, ranging from 19 to 22 inches in size and are dependent on trim.

Elysian Light is a new theme for the interior of Black Label models.

The second new Black Label theme is called Eminent Hour.

The Black Label serves up two new theme choices for the interior. Elysian Light is said to be inspired by “sunrise over water” and combines white leather, dark blue and gray accents, and a white headliner. The Eminent Hour theme sprung from “a desert sunset” and incorporates a dark headliner and brown leather. Premiere and Reserve trims get an Afterglow theme, while Reserve buyers can also opt for Hot Chocolate. These are the actual names and not new Celsius flavors, we promise.

The Nautilus Reserve with Afterglow interior theme.

The Reserve also gets the new option of a Renew package, where you get the Rejuvenate relaxation feature paired with the 24-way powered front seats with memory function and massage. The rest of the show-stopping 48-inch display stays the same.

Powertrain options remain untouched, so that means either a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder or a hybrid. However, Premiere I SUVs can no longer be ordered as a hybrid.

The 2027 Lincoln is available to order now and deliveries are expected to happen early next year. Prices start at $56,790, which is only slightly pricier than 2026’s starting price of $56,290.

I got into cars the way most people do: my dad. Since I was little, it was always something we’d talk about and I think he was stoked to have his kid share his interest. He’d buy me the books, magazines, calendars, and diecast models—everything he could do to encourage a young enthusiast.

Eventually, I went to school and got to the point where people start asking you what you want to do with your life. Seeing as cars are what I love and writing is what I enjoy doing, combining the two was the logical next step. This dream job is the only one I’ve ever wanted.

Since then, I’ve worked at Road & Track, Jalopnik, Business Insider, The Drive, and now MotorTrend, and made appearances on Jay Leno’s Garage, Good Morning America, The Smoking Tire Podcast, Fusion’s Car vs. America, the Ask a Clean Person podcast, and MotorTrend’s Shift Talkers.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, cooking, and watching the Fast & Furious movies on repeat. Tokyo Drift is the best one.
