The special livestream presentation for the television anime adaptation of Katsuwo‘s #Zombie Sagashitemasu (#I’m Looking for Zombie) manga unveiled additional cast, staff, a key visual (pictured right), the theme songs, and first promotional video on Sunday. The anime series is scheduled to premiere on October 3 at 11:30 p.m. on TV Asahi’s IMAnimation programming block, followed by BS Asahi and AT-X.

Singer-songwriter Threee (Dark Gathering) is performing the opening theme “Lucky Lucky.” J-Pop band cadode (Summertime Render) is performing the ending theme “Soft Apocalypse.” Both theme songs are previewed in the first promotional video below.

Shinya Une (Kanojo, Okarishimasu 3rd Season) is directing the anime at Studio Comet, with Kyouhei Suzuki (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 5: Ougon no Kaze episode director) serving as assistant director. Kenichi Yamashita (Kawaikereba Hentai demo Suki ni Natte Kuremasu ka?) and Aki Itami (Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san 2) are handling the series composition and script. Narumi Shimoji (Rinshi!! Ekoda-chan) is designing the characters. Kenta Higashiooji (Princess Connect! Re:Dive) is composing the music.

Katsuwo (Hitoribocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu) serialized the adventure supernatural manga in Comic Dengeki Daioh “g” from June 2022 to November 2023. Kadokawa published the third and final volume in January 2024.

Yen Press licensed the manga in English on July 27.
