Wayne Couzens report: Findings of Angiolini Inquiry into Sarah Everard killer to be published
The first report from the Angiolini Inquiry into Sarah Everard killer Wayne Couzens is due to be published today.
The first phase of the inquiry has looked into how Couzens was able to abduct, rape and murder his victim.
Everard was killed in March 2021 by the serving Metropolitan Police Officer.
Couzens is currently serving a whole life sentence in HMP Frankland in County Durham.
Report set to be published in hours
The Angiolini Inquiry will publish its first report this morning.
Inquiry chairwoman Lady Elish Angiolini is set to read a statement at a press conference as the report is published, setting out the key elements of her findings.
It is also expected that Home Secretary James Cleverly will give a statement in the House of Commons this afternoon on the report.
