VidCon’s inaugural Hall of Fame class to be inducted

VidCon 2025 will kick off Thursday by honoring trailblazers who helped grow an entire industry for content creators. The induction ceremony will be held as part of VidCon’s opening night celebrations.

The 2025 inductees are:

  • Hank Green, co-founder of VidCon and half of the Vlogbrothers channel

  • Rhett & Link, hosts of Good Mythical Morning and founders of Mythical Entertainment

  • Grace Helbig

  • Tyler Oakley

  • Joey Graceffa

  • Rosanna Pansino

  • Anthony Padilla and Ian Hecox, cofounders of Smosh

The Hall of Fame class will be inducted at 7 p.m. PT on VidCon’s Mainstage.

What to expect at VidCon this year

This year’s VidCon feels like a full-blown crossover episode, with OG YouTubers like Hank Green (VidCon’s co-founder), Grace Helbig, and Tyler Oakley rubbing shoulders with a new class of internet stars. With the convention celebrating 20 years of YouTube and launching its first-ever Hall of Fame, there’s a real sense of legacy in the air — a passing of the torch between the creators who built the blueprint and the ones now shaping what comes next.

Detailed session topics include AI in the creator economy, sustainable business models, monetization strategies, and entertainment panels with big brands like YouTube, Meta, and Spotify.


For the first time, VidCon is inaugurating a Hall of Fame to honor digital pioneers who shaped online culture and the creator economy. The seven inaugural inductees are: Rhett & Link (Good Mythical Morning), Ian Hecox & Anthony Padilla (Smosh), Hank Green (VidCon co‑founder), Tyler Oakley, Grace Helbig, Joey Graceffa, and Rosanna Pansino.


Featured creators announced include major names like A.J. & Big Justice, Anthpo, DadLifeJason, Kalen Allen, KreekCraft, KREW, Hannahxxrose, Jenny Hoyos, and jmancurly, among dozens of others. You can check out the full list of participating creators here.

High-profile speakers and panelists from brands and platforms include Dhar Mann, Alex & Leila Hormozi, Grace Wells, Cassey Ho, Courtney Hirsch, Nick Witters, plus executives from YouTube, Spotify, Hasbro, Disney+, Meta, and TikTok.


The next major VidCon event after the 2025 Anaheim event would typically be VidCon 2026, but no dates have been announced yet. For 2025, Anaheim is the confirmed main event. Other international editions (Mexico City, Abu Dhabi, etc.) may occur in 2026, but no dates for those events have been released.
