DESPITE THE NEW England Patriots’s loss to the Seahawks in Super Bowl LX, Tom Brady still brought a bit of Super Bowl cheer by channeling a classic ‘90s heartthrob.
An early teaser for Dunkin’s annual commercial featured Ben Affleck showing Jennifer Aniston, Matt LeBlanc, and Jason Alexander a mystery tape.
During the game, viewers then saw “Good Will Dunkin’”—a spin on Affleck’s Oscar-winning film, Good Will Hunting, which he co-wrote with longtime friend and collaborator Matt Damon. While Damon wasn’t in the ad this time around, Affleck plays a retro Dunkin’ employee named Will who doubles as a math genius.
Aniston then appears as Affleck’s ex-girlfriend, hilariously showing off her “new boyfriend”—played by Brady in an over-the-top wig and a denim jacket. “I’m Tom,” he jokes, as a laugh track roars in the background. Meanwhile, Affleck is stuck working at Dunkin’ with the rest of his friends and employees.
“I was excited to jump into another Dunkin’ Super Bowl commercial with Ben, and we had a blast,” Brady tells Men’s Health in an exclusive statement. “The Dunkin’ team knows how to make something entertaining, and stepping into the whole ‘90s Dunkin’ world made it even more fun.”
What else has Tom Brady done with Dunkin’ previously?
Brady has a long history with the coffee chain. Back in 2003, he starred in a football-themed commercial to promote their steak, egg, and cheese sandwich.
He then joined Affleck and Damon in 2024, as the third member in their fictional boy band dubbed the DunKings. Complete with matching bright orange tracksuits, the trio starred alongside Jennifer Lopez in that year’s Super Bowl commercial.
Who else appeared in Dunkin’s 2026 Super Bowl ad?

The commercial delivered on the sitcom nostalgia factor with a ton of famous faces. It featured Alexander, who played George Costanza on Seinfeld, as the store manager.
“It was genuinely great to reunite with everyone for this. Dunkin’ brought a lot of people together for something that’s just pure fun,” he says. “And as a Boston University alum, getting a little New England coffee back in the mix felt like home for me.”
Fans also might recognize Jaleel White from his role as famed nerd Steve Urkel on Family Matters. In the commercial, White teases Affleck’s character by pointing out “Isn’t that your girlfriend?” and drawing out the words for a nod to his famous “Did I do that?” TV line.
“It taps into that era when TV didn’t take itself too seriously and pairing that with Dunkin’s history made the whole thing feel like a time capsule in the best way,” White says.
Cheers star Ted Danson, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’s Alfonso Ribeiro, and A Different World’s Jasmine Guy rounded out the rest of the ad’s sitcom stars.
