This month’s first batch of leavers
Microsoft has announced the first batch of games leaving Xbox Game Pass in August 2025 today, with three games set to depart the service on August 15th – the majority of them across console, PC and the cloud.
Here’s the full list of games leaving Xbox Game Pass in early August 2025:

You’ll find most of these games available with a discount of at least 20% until they leave the service in early August, and some may receive even bigger discounts via upcoming Xbox sales taking place over the next couple of weeks.
The exception to the rule is Anthem, which is being delisted ahead of shutting its servers early next year.
The next batch of Xbox Game Pass leavers will be announced just after August 15th, which will be the second and final batch until next month. In terms of what’s coming soon to Game Pass, we do have a few confirmed titles already such as Hellblade 2 Enhanced and Gears of War: Reloaded, but we’re expecting to learn of more early next week.
