PSVR2 can sometimes feel like a forgotten footnote to the PS5 generation, but Sony is putting some fresh marketing energy behind the accessory this holiday.
Specifically, with the headset discounted by $100 this Black Friday, the platform holder is actually advertising the device for once.
An all-new montage trailer focuses on new releases, like Lumines Arise, Reach, and Thief VR: Legacy of Shadow. To be fair, if you’re an existing owner or considering jumping in this Christmas, there’s quite a lot of good stuff to try out.
Sony will be hoping the new commercials paired with the headset’s $299 price point push some units this Christmas, and to be fair there are worse ways to spend your money. While PSVR2 hasn’t quite made the impact we all expected, it’s still a very enjoyable device.
