Television broadcast company Fuji TV opened an official website for a television anime adaptation of Jiang Jia Meizi‘s Shang Shan web manhua on Wednesday, revealing the production staff, Japanese dub cast, a teaser visual (pictured), and teaser promotional video. The anime series, titled Shouzen, is scheduled to premiere on Fuji TV’s B8station programming block in 2027.

Synopsis
A Taoist priest, while tracking a demon, inadvertently discovered that a little girl in a certain family had been raised by the demon. She had consumed demon cores since childhood, altering her constitution, and the demon, due to a heavenly tribulation, could no longer care for her. The priest took the girl as his disciple, giving her the Taoist name Shang Shan, and the two began their journey through the human world, vanquishing demons and exorcising evil spirits.
