Royal Family return ‘more significant’ for Harry than Meghan as Duke becomes ‘isolated’

A return to the royal fold is “more significant” to Prince Harry than it is to Meghan Markle, a royal commentator has claimed.

Speaking on GB News America, Kinsey Schofield said the Duke of Sussex is growing increasingly “isolated” due to a lack of opportunities outside of royal life.

She told Patrick Christys that this is different for Meghan, as she is “obsessed” with making sure she has plans for the future.

Harry “wants to mend fences”, Schofield claimed, as he is struggling to deal with not being able to pick up the phone to his brother.

“I feel like it’s significant to Prince Harry and less significant to Meghan Markle”, she said.

“Meghan is obsessed with securing a livelihood and her family. She does not feel like the Royal Family is going to give the olive branch she needs.

“For instance, writing King Charles the letter we find out about in Omid Scobie’s book, she is fixating on the past, wondering why she isn’t getting special treatment.

“She doesn’t think she will get what she wants or needs so her focus is on how she will handle things going forward.”

Making a royal comeback is more of an issue for Harry as his personality contrasts to Meghan in this regard, Schofield claimed.

“It’s Prince Harry that is wanting to mend fences”, she said.

“There are very few people in the world who understand what he is going through, and now they are no longer in his life.

“He cannot pick up the phone and call his brother and say, ‘you will not believe what I just went through’.

“He is isolated.”

It comes after the couple offered an apparent olive branch to the monarchy in November, with both Harry and Meghan speaking to King Charles for his 75 birthday.

It sparked rumours that the Sussexes may spend Christmas at Sandringham with the royals, something that never came to pass.

While the guest list was expanded for the festivities, it was Queen Camilla’s children who joined the royals.
