Age rating appears in Australia

The original PS1 game Rayman will receive a PS5 re-release to mark its 30th anniversary, according to a new Australian age rating listing.

The page covers a Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition for PS5 and Nintendo Switch, with Atari listed as the publisher and developer, and U&I Entertainment as the applicant. The latter covers physical editions, suggesting this re-release could receive a boxed version alongside digital availability on the PS Store.

Such a re-release would line up with both comments from Ubisoft and recent claims from video game insiders.

Ubisoft is currently celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Rayman series, and just one part of the celebrations is this re-release, or a remake as Insider Gaming originally pitched it. The outlet claimed a remake is in the works alongside a fourth mainline entry, and now we have evidence of a 30th Anniversary Edition. It’s apparently coming in late 2026.
