Princess Kate hailed ‘an inspiration’ with ‘new perspective’ that breaks royal tradition

The Princess of Wales has been hailed as “inspirational” as she embraced a new perspective following her cancer recovery.

This renewed approach comes as the Princess makes significant changes to her public role.

In a notable shift, Kensington Palace will no longer release details of the Princess of Wales’s outfits to the public, marking a significant change in royal tradition.

Speaking on GB News, Eamonn Holmes said: “She’s got an issue with fashion now, hasn’t she? And reporting what she’s wearing.”

Former Tory MP Anna Firth explained: “She’s not going to make a big issue in the reports of what she’s wearing.

“There’s a lovely feature on her in the Daily Telegraph today with some of her beautiful outfits. She promotes British brands.

“She has a feeling that maybe talking about what she’s wearing takes away from what she’s doing and why she’s there. But I think she can do both.”

Ellie explained: “Yeah, I think at the moment, bearing in mind that she’s just obviously recovered from cancer she will have a new perspective on things, won’t she?

“She will want the focus and the emphasis to be on the work that she does and not on her clothes, I do understand that but I do think for British brands it is a shame.

“For British designers who are on the world stage and promoted by that.”

The decision comes as Kate, 43, makes a “reassessment of her priorities” following her return to public duties after cancer treatment.

A Kensington Palace source told The Sunday Times that the Princess wants attention directed towards her charitable endeavours rather than her wardrobe choices.

Former editor-in-chief of British Vogue, Alexandra Shulman, supported the move, stating: “When people have gone through what she’s gone through, they should be entitled to be seen how they want to be seen…with a serious mission – not where the focus is on her clothes.”

The change reflects what palace sources describe as Kate’s “new perspective on everything” and her renewed appreciation for “simple yet important things in life.”

Princess Kate

Known as “The Kate Effect,” the Princess’s style choices have historically caused sales to surge and websites to crash when items are identified.

Royal expert Hilary Fordwich recently told Fox that Kate’s impact on fashion is “valued at approximately £4billion, or almost £5bn, to the British fashion industry.”

The change follows years of frustration, according to a close friend of the Princess who told The Times that despite her focus on important work, “people just talked about what she was wearing.”
