Not for honour, but for you

Metal Gear Solid 3 is widely considered an all-time classic, and so it’s easy to understand the excitement surrounding Metal Gear Solid Delta, in all of its remade glory.

Crafted by Virtuos, the same (massive) third-party company that brought us The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered earlier in the year, Delta is out now on PS5, and according to critics, it’s a largely fantastic revival.

Boasting totally new visuals and key gameplay tweaks so that it plays a lot like Metal Gear Solid 5, it’s both a powerful blast of nostalgia and a modernised take. It’ll be interesting to see how well it’s received amongst the series’ most hardcore fans.

“One of the most faithful remakes ever, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater has made a stealth classic feel modern all over again,” is what we wrote in our 9/10 Metal Gear Solid Delta PS5 review.

“By staying so loyal to its source text, Metal Gear Solid 3 is now just as incredible today as it was over 20 years ago,” we concluded.

But have the high scoring reviews been enough to convinced you to dive straight into Metal Gear Solid Delta? As always, vote in our polls, and then remember to crouch in the comments section below.

A little too much, some might say.
