A teen knifeman was arrested Sunday after a 17-year-old was slashed in the neck on a Queens street and died, according to authorities.
A 17-year-old male suspect was busted Sunday morning for allegedly knifing Josue Argudo, also 17, on a Woodhaven street in broad daylight on Friday afternoon.
That suspect was one of two boys accused of chasing Argudo down, beating him up and then fatally stabbing him in the neck.
Argudo was walking around Jamaica Avenue and 76th Street around 3:45 p.m. when he got into a dispute with the suspects, who he did not know, police previously said.
He fled on foot, but was allegedly chased down by his assailants until they caught up and attacked him.
Neighbors who saw the incident gave Argudo CPR before he was rushed to Jamaica Hospital in critical condition. He was later pronounced dead.
It remains unclear what sparked the brutal attack.
“I thought he was punching him but the guy in black must have had the knife wrapped up around his hand,” one witness said.
“The kid sat down, and then he slumped over,” she said of Argudo. “What a sin.”
Both suspects were seen on nearby security footage.
The second alleged attacker remains at large.
