Mike Tyson’s daughter issues three-word message as fresh concerns emerge over Jake Paul fight
Mike Tyson’s daughter feels her dad is ‘locked in’ ahead of his hotly-debated return to the boxing ring against Jake Paul.
Tyson and Paul will go toe-to-toe at the AT&T Stadium on November 15 with millions expected to watch all over the world.
They’re both putting the final touches to their preparations with Tyson regularly posting videos of his workouts and sparring sessions.
His latest video posted to Instagram featured a stunned Gene Kilroy, who couldn’t believe the shape Tyson was in.
Muhammad Ali’s former manager claimed in the video it was the best condition he’s ever seen Tyson in.
He said: “This is the strongest I’ve ever seen you. And I’ve known you since you were 13. This impresses the s*** out of me. Nothing impresses me.
“I’m going to tell you the truth. I don’t lie. I was worried about him traveling here, traveling there. I can sleep now at night. This is great.
“You done more workouts than what I’ve seen you do the whole time you fought Lennox Lewis. Am I right or wrong?”
“I’m proud of you, Mike. I’m proud of you. It’s a new generation.”
Others also commented how well Tyson looked in the training video with many left convinced the former undisputed heavyweight world champion will defeat Paul.
And his daughter, Milan Tyson, also appears confident that her 58-year-old father is more than prepared.
She simply wrote: “Dad’s locked in.”
Even Paul appears concerned about the current shape Tyson is in heading into their first.
Most Valuable Promotions also posted a clip of Tyson in the gym over the weekend and Paul appeared shocked.
He wrote: “WTF.”
While the fight is expected to be one of the most-watched boxing bouts of all time, there has been plenty of controversy surrounding it too.
The 31-year age gap between the two fighters has attracted criticism with concerns raised about Tyson’s health.
‘Iron Mike’ was forced to postpone the original fight with Paul in the summer after suffering an ulcer flare-up on a plane.
But Tyson has downplayed concerns over his age, insisting there is no 58 year old in the world like him.
