Los Angeles City Hall became a crime scene after a man allegedly jumped to his death.

Officers from the LAPD’s Central Division responded to the scene just after 4 p.m. Wednesday following the apparent suicide of a male, an LAPD spokesperson told The California Post.

A photo circulating on social media showed a white tent located just outside the building’s entrance.

Police tape closed off the front steps.

He jumped from the 25th or 26th floor, according to TMZ.

The man’s identity has not yet been released.

While windows in most public areas of City Hall do not open, windows on the upper floors—where staffers work—do open.
