Too Lost has added four senior executives to its leadership team, marking another milestone in the company’s rapid global expansion. The announcement follows a year of record-breaking growth and product innovation for the music technology and distribution company.

Recognized on the 2025 Inc. 5000 list for its 3,677% revenue growth, Too Lost reported a 1,200% increase in headcount since launch. The company now serves more than 400,000 artists and labels worldwide and recently opened new offices in Los Angeles and Reykjavik. These developments reflect the company’s accelerating influence in the independent music space.
Recent product releases highlight Too Lost’s focus on independence, transparency, and financial empowerment. Its new features include a robust mobile platform, expanded artist funding tools, catalog acquisition options, and deeper connections with leading music finance and analytics partners. As part of its continued evolution, Too Lost has announced several senior hires and promotions for 2026.
Mark VanAtta joins as Vice President of Finance after serving as Vice President of Finance at Tree House Brewing Company—the world’s largest direct-to-consumer brewery. He previously worked as Director of Finance at Postcard Cabins (formerly Getaway), which was recently acquired by Marriott. VanAtta also brings experience from his tenure in a senior FP&A role at Warner Music Group (WMG), where he developed a deep understanding of music industry operations.
Marc Emert-Hutner joins as Vice President of A&R following more than 20 years as Vice President and Head of Pop/Rock Membership at the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP). Known for his leadership in artist advocacy and songwriter development, Emert-Hutner has played a pivotal role in signing and retaining major songwriters and publishers. His portfolio includes work with Charli XCX, Cigarettes After Sex, Amy Allen, Jack White, Jon Bellion, and Adam Levine, while also signing and retaining talents such as Noah Kahan, Dan Nigro, Poo Bear, and Olivia Rodrigo.
Nate Fisher joins as Director of Research & Label Acquisition after serving as Senior Director of A&R and Label Acquisition at ADA, WMG’s distribution arm. Fisher’s career includes positions at Warner Music Group, beatBread, Sony Music Publishing, and RCA Records. His background in A&R and strategic dealmaking will help expand Too Lost’s independent label partnerships and refine its catalog acquisition strategies.
Jen Ferrer, a long-time Too Lost team member, has been promoted to Director of Commercial & Artist Strategy. Formerly Senior Product Manager, Ferrer has previous experience at ADA, Resident Advisor, and Alpha Pup Records. In her new role, she will lead global commercial growth and artist development initiatives, supporting Too Lost’s mission to provide flexible, data-driven solutions for independent creators.
