Lucky British winner bags life-changing £83m Euromillions jackpot – ‘What a fantastic night!’
A lucky UK ticket holder has scooped a staggering £83million in Friday night’s EuroMillions draw.
The massive win marks the first UK EuroMillions jackpot of 2025, giving one fortunate player a spectacular start to the new year.
The single ticket matched all required numbers in last night’s draw, landing the winner an exact prize of £83,474,081.80.
Players are now being urged to check their tickets to see if they are the country’s newest multimillionaire.
The winning numbers for Friday’s draw were 02, 11, 19, 30 and 49.
The lucky ticket holder also matched both EuroMillions Lucky Star numbers, which were 03 and 08.
The perfect match of all five main numbers and both Lucky Stars resulted in the exact jackpot prize of £83,474,081.80.
Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery, celebrated the win, saying: “Amazing, what a fantastic night for a single UK ticket-holder who has scooped tonight’s £83 million EuroMillions jackpot!”

“This lucky winner represents the first UK EuroMillions jackpot win of 2025, what a way to start the year,” he added.
Carter urged players to carefully review their tickets, stating: “Players are urged to check their tickets and to give us a call if they think they are tonight’s lucky winner.”
Once the winner comes forward to claim their prize, they will face a significant decision about their newfound wealth.
The lucky ticket holder can choose whether to go public with their win or maintain their anonymity.
This choice will be available to them after they have successfully claimed and received their valuable winning ticket payment.
The decision to remain anonymous has been a popular choice for previous UK EuroMillions winners, with several past multimillion-pound winners opting to keep their identities private.
Tuesday’s jackpot will be an estimated £14million.
