Logan Paul responds after John Fury demands fight on Tommy Fury and Jake Paul’s potential undercard

Logan Paul has issued a terse two-word response to John Fury’s challenge to fight, simply telling the father of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury to “Start training” via Instagram.

The response came within the last 24 hours after John Fury posted a passionate callout on social media, offering to face the American on the undercard of a potential rematch between Tommy Fury and Jake Paul.

The 59-year-old Fury had specified he would fight Logan anywhere in the world except America.

In his social media message, John Fury said: “This is a message to Logan Paul. You keep going on about not wanting to fight your brother.

“Here’s one for you my friend. He does want to fight your brother and I’ll tell you what else… I will fight you on the undercard.”

The elder Fury promised an aggressive approach, declaring: “I will let my hands go and I won’t s*** myself… I’ll let my f****** hands go.”

He proposed the fight could take place as early as the end of January or February.

Logan Paul brings combat sports experience to any potential matchup, having faced KSI twice in the boxing ring.

Their first meeting was an amateur bout in 2018, followed by a professional contest a year later which KSI won via split decision.

In 2021, Paul stepped into the ring for an exhibition bout before securing a victory over Dillon Danis in Manchester last year.

The American has also made a name for himself in WWE, where he has thrived in recent years.

John Fury himself has experience in professional boxing, having made his debut in 1987 with a loss to Adam Fogerty.

The father of Tyson and Tommy Fury compiled a professional record of 8-4-1 during his career.

His time in the ring came to an end in 1995 following consecutive defeats to Henry Akinwande and Steve Garber.

The potential fight would feature on the undercard of a rematch between Tommy Fury and Jake Paul.

Tommy previously secured a points victory over Jake Paul when the pair met last year.

The proposed matchup emerged after Tommy’s recent withdrawal from a scheduled fight with Darren Till, which was cancelled after Till threatened to kick him in the head if he was losing.
