iHeartMedia + Mediabase
iHeartMedia has confirmed longtime radio personality Bob Delmont as the evening host (7 PM until 12 AM) of D.C.’s 98.7 WMZQ and the midday host (10 AM until 3 PM) of Baltimore’s 93.1 WPOC.
Additionally, iHeart’s RCS Worldwide has upped Alissa Pollack to president of Mediabase – a role the multi-decade company vet will assume while continuing as iHeart’s president of global music marketing.
Frontiers Label Group
Frontiers has welcomed Rene Mata as A&R, New York.
Virgin Music Group
After about six years (nearly four as president) with Virgin UK, Vanessa Bosåen is exiting the company.
Amuse
In its artist and label services division, Amuse has hired Mark Mitchell (who joins from Parlophone) as GM and Tim Cronin (previously FUGA’s senior director of business development) as SVP and head of music.
Both will oversee global operations from a newly opened London office while maintaining “a specific focus on expanding into the UK.”

OVG has tapped former Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment higher-up Tyler Bates to serve as UBS Arena’s SVP of programming.
Australian Festival Association
Lizzie Butterworth, most recently with Ogilvy Australia, has stepped in as the Australian Festival Association’s CEO.
Laneway
And following 16 years with Australia’s Laneway, the past six as festival director and GM, Jessie Parker intends “to wrap up this chapter and step down at the end of this month.”
