Jake Paul ordered to make urgent changes ahead of Mike Tyson boxing fight

As Jake Paul’s epic clash against Mike Tyson draws nearer, the YouTube sensation has been warned he must learn some lessons very quickly.

Tyson is renowned as one of the best boxers of all time, winning 44 of his 50 victories by knockout.

It earned him the reputation as the ‘The Baddest Man On The Planet’, though now at the age of 58, a return to the ring has been criticised.

When Tyson and Paul meet in the ring, it will be the biggest age gap ever in a professional bout with the younger opponent a whole 31 years younger than Iron Mike.

Paul is the slight favourite when he faces Tyson, who has already postponed the fight due to medical concerns.

But the 27-year-old has been told that he could be taught a lesson in the ring on November 15, when they meet at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Roy Jones Jr, the last person to fight Tyson in an exhibition bout in 2020, believes Paul will need to make some alterations to his preparations or face a brutal knockout.

Speaking to BetWay, Jones Jr said: “Mike Tyson can beat anybody he wants to when he feels like it.

“Jake Paul on the other hand needs to make some adjustments and learn to do things he hasn’t done before.

“I think Mike will teach him a lesson and teach him as he goes and teach him about boxing, because Mike knows all the ins and outs of boxing.

“I think with that being said, Mike could win the fight early and will do that.

“If Jake can hang around long enough to tire Mike out, because he’s a 58-year-old man so that’s possible, then he has a great chance.”

Tyson has not fought a professional fight since 2005 when he was forced to retire in a shock defeat to Kevin McBride.

And having already missed the original fight date earlier this year on July 20, there are concerns whether the former heavyweight champion will be healthy enough to take on Paul.

However, the social media star has insisted that Tyson is completely ready to return to the ring.

He also went on to state that no replacement fighter has been booked, as opposed to their earlier date which saw former UFC star Mike Perry, who Paul beat by TKO in the sixth round.
