Jacob Rees-Mogg has said that “freedom of speech is one of the pillars of our constitution.”
He said: “Freedom of speech is meaningless if it does not allow people to challenge the consensus.
“When the origins of Covid were first being discussed, efforts were made by the World Health Organisation to stop people speculating that it came from a lab in China.”
