In today’s GB News Daily Reflections, Reverend Brenda from Teesside speaks about the Christian life of sacrifice.

“In Lent, we might give up chocolate or social media and it is true Christians try to live healthy lives.

“When you truly know Jesus and everything he lived through, everything else becomes rubbish. That might seem extreme, it doesn’t mean we don’t care about other people and sometimes following Jesus is costly.

“But when it comes to material things, our best lives are served with God. Giving up things of this world does not feel like sacrifice, it feels like freedom.”
