Newsbrief: A group of former AppLovin leaders have reunited to establish a new mobile studio called Cheer.

The studio quietly broke cover in August and is focused on building casual puzzle games. “Our goal is to entertain players with creative, engaging experiences, delivered with the quality and care that make every moment rewarding,” reads a blurb on the company’s LinkedIn page

Cheer is led by CEO and co-founder Emre Gercel, who previously spent six years at AppLovin publisher Lion Studios, where he most recently served as VP of business development and market intelligence.

Garcel is joined by fellow co-founders Berkay Ozturk (previously director of design at Lion Studios), Kutay Koralturk (previously product lead at Lion Studios), and Ertan Ünver (founder of SuperMesh Games).
