Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt, who recently wowed audiences with his stellar performance in Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar, is set to return with Aakhri Sawal.

The makers have unveiled the first look of the actor. The poster features Dutt in an intense avatar, framed by a large question mark. It uses dark colours and fire-like effects, giving it a mysterious and powerful look.

The poster also has a tagline, “The Question India Never Stopped Asking.”

“Get ready to know the answer on 15th May only in cinemas,” the caption read.

Aakhri Sawal tells the true story of 100 years of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), founded in 1925 by Keshav Baliram Hedgewar.

The film focuses on an important meeting that changed the course of India’s history. It also explains the core philosophy of RSS and reveals stories and truths that have stayed hidden.

The film is directed by Abhijeet Mohan Warang, a National Award–winning filmmaker. He made his directorial debut with the Marathi drama ‘Picasso’ in 2021, which earned him a Special Mention at the 67th National Film Awards.

Abhijeet has since made impressive films in both Marathi and Hindi, including Deja Vu, Prem Pratha Dhumshan, Piccolo, and the short film Virtual Reality.

Aakhiri Sawal, presented by Nikhil Nanda and Dhanraj Nathwani, features Amit Sadh, Namashi Chakraborty, Sameera Reddy, Tridha Choudhury and Neetu Chandra in pivotal roles.

The film, produced by Dutt along with Nanda and written by Utkarsh Naithani, will be released on May 15.

Sanjay Dutt has several films lined up. He will next be seen in Vikash Verma’s Indo-Polish epic The Good Maharaja, Riteish Deshmukh’s historical action-drama Raja Shivaji, and Prem’s Kannada action film KD: The Devil.
