The next season of Prime Video’s hit Fallout TV series will add Star Wars: The Acolyte’s Manny Jacinto to its cast.
Also heading into the Wasteland next season are Jojo Rabbit actress Thomasin McKenzie, as well as The Newsroom’s Emily Mortimer. Details of their characters currently remain under wraps.
The trio will join the returning Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins and Kyle MacLachlan — as well as previously-announced Breaking Bad alum Aaron Paul — in new episodes, which begin filming in Los Angeles this month.
Amazon is moving quickly to capitalize on Fallout’s huge viewership for its first two seasons, which have now notched up more than 100 million viewers worldwide. The series is one of Prime Video’s best-performing shows ever, with each of its first two seasons in the streamer’s top four most-watched seasons of all time.

Word of this fresh casting news has been received positively by fans, with Jacinto’s addition in particular drawing praise. Widely seen as one of the best parts of now-cancelled Star Wars prequel series The Acolyte, Jacinto also has solid comedy chops following his starring role as clueless Jason in The Good Place.
Kiwi actress Thomasin McKenzie is another rising star, with roles in psychological thriller Eileen and last year’s British satirical period comedy Fackham Hall. British actress Mortimer, meanwhile, appeared in Mary Poppins Returns and Paddington in Peru.
After Fallout’s second season focus on New Vegas, the setting of one of the most beloved games in the series, Season 3 will move to another new location, as the finale suggests that at least some of the characters will be heading toward Colorado. As fans know, Colorado is not featured in the Fallout games, unlike California and New Vegas.
