Angelenos might be the notoriously early birds to their New York night owl counterparts, but those self-imposed curfews go out the window on Oscars Sunday. After the obligatory stop to fuel up on sushi and steak at Governor’s Ball, a sultry outfit change for the Vanity Fair after-party, and a whistle-stop to shake hands at a Netflix or Warner Brothers-hosted bash, there’s only one venue calling come 2 a.m.: the home of Guy Oseary.
For the last 18 years, the Hollywood honcho and talent manager has thrown the quintessential Academy afters, co-hosted by his friend and client Madonna. Like in previous iterations, camera lenses are slapped with a sticker upon entry to ensure total privacy.
So, who was there? Enjoying the buzz away from prying paps and free from reporters’ dictaphones were Nicole Kidman, at least three Kardashian-Jenners (Kim! Kendall! Kylie et Timothée!), Leonardo DiCaprio and Vittoria Ceretti, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, Elle and Dakota Fanning, Mary J. Blige, Jacob Elordi, Jessica Alba, Emma Stone, Kevin Bacon, Mick Jagger, Olivia Rodrigo, Renate Reinsve, everyone from Heated Rivalry, and even best actress winner Jessie Buckley—making good on her promise that she would stay up all night celebrating. All things considered, the entire guest list read like the first five rows of the Dolby Theater 12 hours previously.
Gucci’s artistic director Demna had also flown in from Milan specially, as the label partnered with Oseary to kick things up a notch. As such, among those who’d donned Gucci for the night included Demi Moore, Kate Hudson, Justin Bieber, Ed Norton, Laura Harrier, Karlie Kloss, Keke Palmer, Tyriq Withers, and Bruna Marquezine.
In the absence of blurry iPhone snaps, Gucci arranged its own portrait studio too, with photographer Cameron McCool immortalizing the vibe—and giving everyone else a rare glimpse inside Hollywood’s most exclusive house party…
