Earthquake today: Shallow 5.7 magnitude quake shakes Alaska’s Yakutat region

A magnitude 5.7 earthquake struck Yakutat, Alaska in the U.S. on Thursday, the United States Geological Survey said.

The quake was at a depth of 9 km (5.6 miles), USGS added.
