You’re gonna wanna try this, Chooms

Cyberpunk 2077 is so much bigger than its PS5 game these days, so the next time you’re in an arcade, don’t be surprised to see Chrome Rush inside.
This is a Road Rash-style racing game comprising two full-sized motorcycles, which you’ll commandeer through a number of Night City’s locations, like Corporation Plaza and the Badlands.
Made by arcade manufacturer UNIS under license from CD Projekt RED, the gameplay’s got that Cruis’n-style craziness to it, where you’re doing death defying leaps hundreds of metres in the air, as buildings explode in the background.
It looks a bit framey in the above footage, which is a bit concerning considering cabinets are scheduled to start shipping in May. We also think the graphics aren’t as sharp as they should be; it all looks a little bit muddy to us.
But we do like the concept of a combat racer set within the Cyberpunk 2077 universe. Apparently the full game will feature four tracks, seven characters, and eight bikes, so a reasonable amount of content for an arcade cabinet, then.
This follows the announcement of a new Resident Evil 2 shooter which is set to start location testing soon. It’s a fun time for fans of good ol’ fashioned coin-op fun.
