Wisconsin gubernatorial candidate and Democratic Socialist Francesca Wong served up a word salad to a constituent who was concerned about boys being allowed in girls’ locker rooms. Wong replied that it was funny that no one was concerned about male sports reporters in women’s locker rooms before pivoting to another topic. Her Republican opponent, Tom Tiffany, posted video of her response, and Hong clapped back by saying that all Tiffany talks about is culture wars. This is from the woman who wanted to cancel Thanksgiving, abolish the Senate and the police, and appeared at the site where a knife-wielding career criminal was shot by police and immediately called it an “execution.” She’s also the one who worried that her “proximity to whiteness” through her half-white son made her insensitive to the needs of marginalized communities.
See what I mean? All he talks about is culture wars. People are sick of this. Why not talk about the economy? It’s because your policies will line the pockets of billionaires and data center developers. So all you do is try to divide us. It won’t work.
Our movement is about… https://t.co/o5cYIr2Wqg

The post continues:
… bringing people together across the political spectrum. It’s about doing the most good, for the most people. I’m running to create permanent affordability for working people in Wisconsin and folks seem to appreciate that 😉
Our movement? Does she mean the Democratic Socialists of America?
Your entire existence is because of woke culture wars. When we finally win, we’re never gonna have to worry about communist infiltration ever again.

Tell us more how New Richmond is like the WNBA

If the culture war stuff “isn’t important” you could always stop fighting to put men in women’s spaces.
— Bill DeWahl (@CostanzasATMpin) August 8, 2026
I’ll take the guy that can make it through his Culver’s dinner without a panic attack due to old white people. You are no leader and you’re mentally unstable 🤡
— Scott Ziegler (@ScottZ76) August 8, 2026
The far left cannot bring people together. It endlessly divides and subdivides people into “oppressors” and “oppressed” and is pathologically incapable of recognizing individuality.
Plus, all the culture wars the right fights are ones that the left starts.
— Phillip Creed (@creed_phillip) August 8, 2026
You’re movement is a socialist takeover of a country not built on those ideologies. You are NOT Wisconsin, you do not align with our ideals and we will not let you destroy our great state.
— Chelsea 🇺🇸 (@ChelsMarieFlie) August 7, 2026
If your opponent had said multiple racist and insane things in the past along with espousing communist ideas, you wouldn’t use it?
— Enemy of the Leviathan (@kirk_quotes) August 7, 2026
Wha? You’re literally all about culture war.
Oh, I forgot. You’ve suddenly flip-flopped on Thanksgiving.
How you doin’ around white folk these days?
— Cappy ™ (@CappyMoose) August 8, 2026
Why so afraid to talk about your past stances that only appeal to radical Madisonians??
— Kurt Kayser (@KayserKurt23) August 7, 2026
You tried to cancel Thanksgiving. You don’t get to say shit about culture wars.
— TheNotoriousPIF (@TheNotoriousPIF) August 7, 2026
But now she says she loves Thanksgiving and, in fact, it’s her favorite holiday. Plus, she told Fox News she doesn’t want to abolish the Senate “at this time,” after denying she had said it at all, even though her “Abolish the Senate” post is still up.
Parents aren’t sick of talking about it. Your attitude suggests that those vehemently opposing intact males in girls’ rooms because it isn’t safe or fair should shut up because you’re “over it.” Your feelings don’t get to arbitrarily decide what atrocity we’re outraged over.
— SpecialKMac (@SpecialKMac2) August 8, 2026
Lol, he called you out for not answering the question and your response is to not answer the question again.
— SuburbanFridge (@SuburbanFridge) August 8, 2026
It’s understandable why someone with her views would want to pivot away from the culture wars.
