‘Britain is world’s biggest warmonger’ claims Russia’s foreign intelligence service in chilling warning: ‘It is time to expose them!’
Russia’s foreign intelligence service has claimed Britain is the world’s biggest “warmonger”.
The SVR intelligence agency accused the UK of sabotaging the efforts of the US to secure peace in Ukraine.
“It is time to expose them and send a clear signal to the treacherous Albion and its elites: you will not succeed,” the agency stated, adding that Britain was also to blame for starting WW2.
“As we can see, London today, just as it did on the eve of both world wars of the last century, acts as the main ‘instigator’ of the global conflict,” the SVR said.
SVR further claimed that Britain was undermining US President Donald Trump’s peacekeeping efforts.
This comes as earlier today, Russia accused two people connected to the British embassy in Moscow of engaging in “counter-intelligence work” and harming the country’s security. They were expelled from the country.
In response to the move, a Foreign Office spokesman said: “This is not the first time that Russia has made malicious and baseless accusations against our staff.”
The Kremlin has been unhappy with the UK’s military aid for Ukraine, as well as Sir Keir Starmer’s recent remarks about sending British troops to the area to form a peacekeeping force.

This comes days after President Trump halted US military support and intelligence sharing to Ukraine after branding Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky as ungrateful and a “dictator”.
Now, the US leader has demanded Ukraine cede land to Russia and for Zelensky to step down as leader of his country.
The Institute of War studies reveled that Russia was taking advantage of the stop in aid, by “intensifying offensive operations”.
They claimed it was “notable” on the battlefield that Ukraine has not been able to shoot down missiles from Russia in the past week.
Peace negotiations are due to be held tomorrow in Saudi Arabia, with Kyiv expected to propose an aerial and naval ceasefire.
Ukraine is believed to think this could lead Trump to reinstate aid and intelligence sharing.
Meanwhile, military officials from over 30 countries will gather in Paris tomorrow to discuss the creation of an international security force for Ukraine.
An international force of this scale would aim to stop Russia from attacking Ukraine once a ceasefire comes into effect.
