Austrian police arrest Isis-supporting teen, 14, over alleged major terror plot
Austrian police have arrested a 14-year-old who is known to support Isis over an alleged major terror plot in the nation’s capital.
Local media have reported that counter terror authorities arrested the teenager earlier this month.
It was believed that he was allegedly planning a terror plot at Vienna’s Westbahnhof.
Police found knives on his person, as well as other items at his home which indicated that he supported Islamic State.
They arrested him after a vicious knife attack took place in the town of Villach – in the south – last Saturday.
A 23-year-old Syrian refugee is currently suspected of murdering a teen and injuring five more.
Austrian officials have claimed that he became radicalised after watching Islamist content online.

Governor Peter Kaiser has demanded the “harshest consequence” – including imprisonment and deportation – after the attack.
He said: “This unbelievable atrocity must have the harshest consequences! I have always said very clearly and unequivocally: anyone who lives in Carinthia, in Austria, must respect the law and must adapt to our rules and values.
“Anyone who violates these rules must face the harshest consequences – they must be put on trial, imprisoned and deported!”
